Auranet Deterministic Time Infrastructure

The AI layer for industries that run on the moment.

Every autonomous system, smart grid and robotic facility depends on knowing the exact moment. They don't just need precise time and location. They need to prove it. GPS can't. Auranet can.

Auranet Deterministic Time Infrastructure. Trusted Time you can prove.

GPS · 20,200 km up
one unauthenticated signal

The problem

Everything runs on one contested signal from space

When GPS fails, there is no fallback.

GPS is a single unencrypted signal from space — weak, unauthenticated, and producing no proof anyone can check later. Every industry below depends on it. None of them should.

Utilities & smart grid

A $50 jammer can cause a false relay trip — and FERC will ask for a timestamp you cannot produce.

NERC PRC-002-2 · FERC liability · EO 13905

Critical
Factory & warehouse automation

Clock drift between robot cells causes scrap, collisions and line stoppages. GPS does not reach indoors reliably.

FSMA 204 · 21 CFR Part 11 · ALCOA

Critical
Autonomous vehicles

Every braking decision needs a court-admissible timestamp. NTP is milliseconds off and unauthenticated.

NHTSA Standing General Order · WP.29 R155

Critical
Cellular & 5G

CoMP requires ±260 nanoseconds across thousands of sites. GPS delivers it — until someone jams it.

High

GPS is the only source most of these systems use. It is unencrypted, easily overpowered, and produces no verifiable record of when something happened. Auranet closes that gap.

Auranet — A signal more than 1,000,000 times more powerful than GPS.

From resilience to proof

We are not just a terrestrial GPS. We are the infrastructure that makes time trusted and verifiable.

A broadcast tower at golden hour radiating trusted time and position across a city — reaching a data centre, robotic assembly cells, an autonomous shuttle, a connected car, solar and wind generation, and commercial buildings
01

Cesium atomic clock at the tower. Not the network's clock.

Our atomic time reference is produced at the transmit site — not relayed from GPS or the network. 15,000 watts of UHF broadcast reaches into urban canyons and indoor facilities where every competing signal fails. Where GPS fails, our signal is resilient.

02

Signed at the source. Verifiable offline.

Every packet is signed at the tower with a key you never hold. A regulator, court or insurer can verify it six months later — without an internet connection, without calling us. That is not an assertion. It is a proof.

03

One network. Time. Position. Data. Same trust.

Auranet carries PNT and broadband on a single network. An AI update, a map, an instruction, a record — all inherit the same cryptographic proof. A timing network cannot add broadband. A data network cannot add an independent precision clock. Auranet does both.

Industries

Built for the moment each sector depends on.

We build the infrastructure that other infrastructure is waiting on.

Auranet is not an app. It's the substrate two worlds are waiting on: autonomous and AI systems that must act, coordinate, and account for what they did — and the critical infrastructure already running tighter than its timing allows.

Natural Disasters & Emergency Response

Incident command · indoor PNT · after-action proof

Trusted time and position across agencies, alerts and devices in smoke, steel and rubble. The record command, courts and after-action reviews can actually use.

Verticals prove it. Value multiplies at the seams — one record everybody can trust and no single party owns.

Auranet earns trust inside industries. Over time, its value compounds in cross-industry ecosystems — one record for power and compute, one timestamp for a handover, one custody chain from plant to carrier.

Why Auranet

The critical layer that was never built

Auranet is the primary infrastructure for resilient, trusted and verifiable PNT.

Deterministic Time Infrastructure is a new category. Compute scaled. Networking scaled. Storage scaled. Time did not. It is still delivered as a single contested signal from space, unauthenticated, with no certificate of authenticity and no verifiability. Auranet is delivering Deterministic Time Infrastructure.

Four stacked infrastructure layers — Layer 1 compute, Layer 2 networking, Layer 3 cloud infrastructure, and Layer 4 Deterministic Time Infrastructure carrying towers, cities, factories and fleets

We build a nationwide terrestrial broadcast network that delivers trusted time and position, and the data that depends on them, over a wide area using spectrum we control, carrying cryptographic proof that humans and autonomous systems can trust and verify.

Reach A territory,
not a site

Wide-area UHF coverage per site. Most terrestrial alternatives cover a building. We cover the service territory.

50–75 miDiameter coverage
Depth Built for where
GPS does not go

UHF at high power goes where L-band from orbit cannot — urban canyons, through roofs, down warehouse aisles and across fabrication floors.

15,000 WUHF per site
Independence A Cesium atomic clock
at the tower

Auranet precision time is produced at the transmission site, not relayed — holds accuracy when GNSS is jammed, spoofed, or gone.

1 nsCesium drift / day
Proof Signed
at the tower

Cryptographically signed time signal at the transmission site creates trust and the ability to verify the source signal.

SignedOffline verifiable
Openness A shared trust layer
nobody owns

The trust root sits outside every participant. That is what opens multi-party markets. The seams between verticals are the prize.

InfiniteOpportunities

The only network where the time, the position and the data all carry the same cryptographic proof across a wide area, delivered over spectrum we control and operate.

The network

The towers already stand

Infrastructure you can see.

Auranet leverages LPTV spectrum and existing High Tower, High Power (HTHP) infrastructure to deliver a powerful terrestrial network to complement GPS with resilient, trusted and verifiable PNT plus broadband data. We have two existing pilot networks in Silicon Valley and Las Vegas, complemented by 750+ station agreements across the US. Our mission is to build a nationwide network exceeding 1,600 sites, using existing infrastructure.

LPTV station footprint plotted against US population concentration
LPTV station footprint vs. U.S. population concentration. 319 low-power TV stations plotted against the top ~150 metro areas — home to roughly 72% of the U.S. population. Circle area scales with each metro's population; station markers approximate each licence's city of licence.
